This study aims to “introduce and apply the method of discourse analysis in a Qur’anic study”.
In this regard, the main question is “how to use the method of discourse analysis in the Qur’anic
studies.” Firstly, the method of “discourse analysis” was explained by referring to the sources
of “qualitative research methods”, especially the sources related to “discourse analysis”. Then,
based on the characteristics of this method and using Atlas TI quality analysis software, all
verse s of the Qur’an were studied, and primary and secondary coding, networking and index
extraction were practiced. The coding was performed in accordance with the units of analysis,
i.e. “words”, “sentences” and “the whole Qur’an” on the subject of “adolescent development”
and the findings of “discourse analysis in the Qur’anic research” were also taken into
account. The research results are as follows: 1. the method of “discourse analysis” is used in
the Qur’anic research with some considerations; 2. what has been found from this method is
mostly applicable in the Qur’anic research; 3. at least eleven indicators are definable for “adolescent
development from the Qur’anic perspective”; 4. for each indicator, some components
